Congratulations to our GMS 6-8 Math Team!

On Thursday, May 2, the Southern Maine Math League held its first in-person meet since 2019. Teams from Gardiner to York gathered at the Portland Expo for the fourth and final meet of the year. Our GMS 6-8 Math Teams were in attendance. For the third time this year, Greely Middle School's Seventh Grade Math Team, coached by GMS teacher Mark McDonough, secured a first place finish. Three members of the team also took home individual awards. These are given to the top five scorers from each grade. They are: William Sandifer - Fourth place, Peter Colianni - Third place, and Lincoln Welles - Second place. Congratulations to the whole team on their tremendous success this year.
